Sara Girmay is SDG MEDIA PRODUCTIONS.

Sara is a first generation Eritrean-American who grew up in Northern Virginia. She got her start in media when she moved to New York City in 2015. While studying Film Production and Business Management at CUNY Brooklyn College, she began working on set, first as a Production Assistant and progressing into roles such as Writer, Producer, Assistant Director, Production Coordinator both in projects of her own and as a freelancer. To date, she has worked on over 20 projects.

Currently, she is working in television full-time at Warner Bros. Discovery, while freelancing mainly as a Producer, Assistant Director, or Production Coordinator. She has worked for various productions spanning from film, TV, podcasts, social media, music videos, fashion, promotional content and PSAs. She has worked for companies such as HBO, Netflix, Bravo, the National Health Institute, etc.
