SDG Media Productions LLC is the freelance production banner of Sara Girmay, an award-winning Producer, Assistant Director, and Production Coordinator based in Washington, DC. With nearly a decade of hands-on experience, Sara specializes in delivering high-impact narrative and branded content across film, digital, and live event formats.

Through SDG Media Productions, Sara has been hired as a Producer and key creative on projects for major networks and institutions—including Netflix, HBO, Bravo, Warner Bros. Discovery, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Her portfolio includes everything from public health campaigns and crime documentaries to award-winning short films and live programming.

While SDG Media Productions is not a content studio, it serves as the professional identity through which Sara leads and contributes to commissioned media work. As a freelance producer, she brings a collaborative spirit, production rigor, and creative vision to every project she joins—whether managing a crew of 30+ or building stories from the ground up.
